Now y’all. This has been my go to seafood place in Houston for YEARS and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. I love love love seafood and Mikes does it right every time. I have tried various seafood boils (crab legs, crawfish, and shrimp) and they NEVER disappoint. I usually get them spicy! They give you extra butter and seasoning but I only use that when I want some razzle dazzle. When I come during happy hour I usually get their wings and daiquiris which are cheaper at that time (and still delicious). I’ve been on the search for another seafood place as good as Mikes and I have yet to find it l. Definitely worth every penny!!

Always nice to dine here for a change of pace from my usual spots. Literally everything that comes out of the kitchen is satisfying. I’m a ranch snob and when I saw the ranch it was divine; Made in house instead of premade. That small little extra effort tells me there’s pride in the food.
The dozen oysters were $14 (06/2021) it came out first and tasted fresh and cold.
The crawfish came out second and them mud bugs were still decent sized for season almost being over. The garlic butter sauce was finger licking good. Even though I ordered spicy it wasn’t, but I knew that would be the case. It was about $7/lbs (I think) which is fair! Some places are charging $9-$10/lbs and that’s just ridiculous.
The waaaannngggg. Yaaallll. I never order garlic parm unless it’s from Buffalo Wild Wings because I hate a dry rub. Color me surprised when the wings came and it was wet! But not drenched. It was perfect.
I left in pain from over stuffing myself. It was worth it.

This is the other location of Mike Seafood that I’ve visited and the food was on point.
I think this is the original location and it was busy. The pick up lines were long, the ordering line was long and the dine in was pretty full. That only means one thing…… this restaurant is trending and handing its business!!
I want to play usual four piece catfish with french fries, that comes with hush puppies. The catfish is One of the best that I’ve had in the city. It is so well seasoned, crispy n golden and their tartar sauce is probably the best in town. Even the french fries are golden, crispy and on point and a very generous portion. Kudos to u Mike!
This place has become my go to spot on a weekly basis. I do usually see the supervisor/manager go to every table and check up on customers.
